Tekst Utworu

Pulpits turned to stages
Truth got traded for applause
Shepherds left the pasture
While the wolves came through the walls
Silver tongues sell sermons
With no blood upon the ground
They preach a cheap salvation
While the lost keep burning down
Sheep without a shepherd
Scattered in the dust
Hungry for the Word of God
But fed with fame and lust
Jesus saw the wounded
And His heart broke deep with grief
Woe to every hireling
Who profits off the sheep
They dress it up in culture
Call compromise "new wine"
But they won't preach repentance
Or the narrow road divine
They fear the crowd's opinion
More than they fear the Lord
They polish up their platforms
While they lay down Heaven's sword
Sheep without a shepherd
Scattered in the dust
Hungry for the Word of God
But fed with fame and lust
Jesus saw the wounded
And His heart broke deep with grief
Woe to every hireling
Who profits off the sheep
They built their golden kingdoms
On the backs of broken souls
Sold the cross for comfort
Then called the compromise growth
They left the altar empty
While the sheep cried out for bread
But the Chief Shepherd is coming
With fire in His steps
He'll tear down every platform
that was never built on truth
He'll expose the hired hands
who abandoned hurting youth
The flock belongs to Jesus
not the wolves, not fame, not greed
Feed His sheep or face the King
Who watches how they bleed
Where are the watchmen?
Where are the men of fire?
Where are the voices crying
"Come out from the liar"?
God don't need performers
He's calling shepherds back
Feed the lambs or leave the field
The King is keeping track
Sheep without a shepherd
But the Shepherd still remains
He'll gather up the broken
And He'll break the wolves' chains
Jesus sees the wounded
And He hears their midnight weep
Woe to every hireling
The Lord defends His sheep
