Another day, Just trying to stay on my feet Another night, When I'm just roam the streets And everything is such a blur – the way my mind's set on her I'm trying hard to help myself but I'm just a do-nothing Another day, And things don't change a bit Another job, That I just have to quit When nothing else is going right- she makes me wanna party all night I'm trying hard to help myself but I'm just a do-nothing I saw her in the park today, But I didn't have a thing to say I tried to make her see me She went away and I went home just to watch tv I try my best to get my stuff together, But I'm heavy and she's light as a feather And everything's such a blur, The way my mind's set on her I'm trying hard to help myself, But I'm just a do-nothing I'm trying hard to help myself, But I'm just a do-nothing
