Lagartija Nick can effortlessly juggle genres as diverse as punk, psychedelia and sci-fi pop, so it make sense that the band's influences are equally broad. Flamenco hero Enrique Morente and rock poet Leonard Cohen—both whom informed the quartet's classic 1996 album Omega—prove a major point of reference, as do goths Love and Rockets on the moody "Kundalini Express".
