Through the trees with the whispering leaves

Where a blanket of black tucks the sun in for sleep

I catch the eyes of the stars in the sky

Blinking away as they watch me tonight

She left me here after breakin' my heart

But it's on me, I knew she was grief from the start

There's no constellation showin' me any love

While the line that I walked opens out to the shore
