A Little of Both

We’re interfaithers

A Jew and Catholic meant to be

Along with our children

We’re a perfect modern family

And every holiday season

We’ll decorate a Christmas tree

And light a menorah

For Judah and the Maccabees

On Hanukkah our menorah lights

And we celebrate Christmas Day and night

The kids spin the dreidel

On and on it seems to go

And out on the front lawn

Is Rudolph with his shiny nose

And when you walk to the front door

Candy canes will light your way

And inside’s our Christmas village

And by the tree is Santa’s sleigh

On Hanukkah our menorah lights

And we celebrate Christmas Eve tonight

Latkes and donuts so delicious

With gelt tonight

Our elf appears every morning

Always in a different place

Today’s the day he’ll be leaving

Making way for Santa’s face

Time to take the cookies out for Santa

He’s comin’ tonight
