Letra
The hidden pain on the final day
Just felt ordinary
And those final hours
Never seemed to phase me
But those long minutes
Felt like a drama movie scene
And that last second
Is now put on replay for me
For the next couple weeks
Numbness took over my body
Clueless on the months to come
Family would be tearing
Years and years
Sanity would be thrown away
And the will to live
Is questioned nearly every day
The time for joy in the colder years
Would find no right place or time
Troubles would be adding on
Trauma after trauma
Aches all throughout my head
Trembling at an unusual pace
Holding on to the familiar phrase
"You'll see him again one day"
Scraping by to survive
Trying to find ways to stay alive
Without my hero by my side
Feeling as if i'm cursed
Im sobbing "this can't get any worse"
Trying to find light in the rubble
All the words that I speak
And every action I do
Carries this burden on me
I wish I was with you
The wisdom, the knowledge
Everything I needed to hear
Is lost and won't ever be found
Until the end is near
Scraping by in order to survive
Trying to find ways to stay alive
Without my hero by my side
feeling as if i'm cursed
I'm sobbing "this can't get any worse"
Trying to find light in the rubble
They're was so much not said
Some many words ran through my head
On what I would say today
But These words will remain unspoken
My heart is still broken
And every time when I speak of you
I'm still choking
