Flash of searing pain unleashing on the nervous system

Withdrawing my hold to find my hand is gone

No blood, no remains, just a scatter of light

It can flex? I can feel? All the tendons tightening

Concrete, tangible, an avatar of permanence

Recoil in shock, is this really happening?

Why can I see this?

Why do I exist?

As I succumb to this
