It's only in feelings we comprehend

People try talking to me

I don't understand what they see

Is there something so pressing, urgent, or good

That you want me to listen for my own good?

How people can want me to be a man

Is there really a word worth fighting for?

Everyone seems to want to run my life

Give me direction, vision, and insight

When have they asked, or when have I

Offered an opinion to someone who'd see?

I don't know or understand

How people can want me to be a man
