When I dive into the water

I feel divine, when the words just come out right

When the love inside me overheats

When the white noise comforts me

When I live out my poetic dream

When I'm moving too quick to run

When I feel the heat of this old sun

When the lights flash fast I smile

When the sharks are swimming fast around

And I shake off the smothering hands

When I realise I can lose control, when I'm flying with nothing to slow

When things aren't always what they seem

When a moment changes everything

When the high starts to seep in

And I don't when the feeling will end

When the wind is at my back

And my patience begins to crack

When the voltage stands me upright

When I surface without fear at night

The light won't shine forever

When the cogs inside of me are glowing

And what's to come is filled with hope

When the currents swim and dance around

And the flame of motion licks and burns

When our bodies cling together

And our skin is soft and sweating

When I manifest just what I feel

Beyond the comfort lies a thrill

When I know adventure waits

When I hold an unknown hand

When I know we might not meet again
