Muddy Hands

Grow me some plants

Out in the field

Maybe some flowers

And vegetables

Bust up the sod

Plant a few seeds

Always water them until they grow

Foods that I like

Peppers and fruit

Strawberries

And tomatoes

And scare off the bugs

Naturally

Plant marigolds and mint

I'll hold your muddy hands

As we overlook the garden

If my hands wander

Then I'll have to beg your pardon

You gotta green thumb

And green eyes

And the sprouts are sprouting

Frolic the land

Hand in hand

It's time to tend the garden
