Since I first opened my eys, you've been on my side

I never had to live this life alone

Smiling in the snow, playing the Nintendo, it's hard to shine on a memory without your face.

Well I hope that you can see, that you helped me become me.

And I would like for you to know, that I will always be in your soul.

Now the time has flown by, and we're still living in this life.

We have both built the place that we call home.

And the space between us has grown.

But we can never be alone, we could just sing our childhood song.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.

You make me happy, when skies are grey.

You'll never know dear, how much I love you.

So please, don't take my sunshine away.
