Introspect

Introspecting, I'm reflecting on all the life I've lived til now Sure it's hard sometimes, but how could I pass this up? I need to ground Counting my blessings, check what my minds on, got the time to be alone We're alive, here in peace is where we belong Isolation ain't so bad Get up, get out of your head Close your eyes and take deep breaths Prepare for what's ahead, take the time to care Can be so easy to dip low when we're alone There's a higher reason to it, I believe that that's so (thank you Lord) Faith and trust, is a must, don't give up they're strong in us Everything ain't black and white, turn off the news and see the light now Fears just gonna bring your mood down, emotions running high don't you drown It's quiet but I like how that sounds Isolation ain't so bad Get up, get out of your head Close your eyes and take deep breaths Prepare for what's ahead I know you miss your friends, you miss outside But when's the last time you stopped to cry Feel your feelings and drop the lies, sit alone and feel you shine You bought the mask but keep it off Stay inside and get real honest, write it down like you're in office Put the work in make it often Isolation ain't so bad Get up, get out of your head Close your eyes and take deep breaths Prepare for what's ahead, take the time to care Breathe in, breathe out, it's all it's about
