Small Animals

In our forest

We forage for substance

But, subsequently, there's not enough

So, we

Bite and we growl

And, we frown and we howl

All night

And, during the day

In our forest we play

But, only inside of caves

And, all we want

Is to blush from the touch of

Compassionate hands
