Well I've never been so good in school I've never been that smart I never looked like a super model and I never had a credit card I never owned a fast car and I guess I never will But I am a part of a Rock'n Roll band, and that's the way I get my thrill Maybe you think you're something better, because you're wearing fancy dresses I say wear your dress and think what you think, but I have got to kick some Asses And I can't change the way I am Even if I could, I'd do the same mistakes again I said up, down, loser or best As long as there's a beat in my chest I know that Rock'n Roll ain't dead Well I played on mighty stages and I have played in dirty pubs It's true I fell more than one time, but more than two times I stood up Well I drank a thousand whiskeys and I kissed a thousand girls Cause I'm a part of a Rock'n Roll band and that's why I rule the world And I can't change the way I am Even if I could, I'd do the same mistakes again I said up, down, loser or best As long as there's a beat in my chest I know that Rock'n Roll ain't dead
