To show you what I see

The light that hits the walls,

The way the branches fall,

The shadows from the trees...

I wish I had my real camera

To capture how I feel,

The way your eyes light up

From the coffee in your cup,

And the beauty it reveals.

I wish I had my real camera

To prove that I was here.

This moment and this place, that smile upon your face

Wanna make it reappear.

And I know I should live in the moment,

But sometimes comes a day,

Today's a day I want up on the wall,

I guess my heart will just have to recall.
