Just another day breathing dust in the heat, beat, and all that I feel is worn.

At the end of the day and I’m frayed on the bus, home, I’m staring at the floor.

She’s putting on her lipstick thinking of the night and she catches me smiling as I’m walking through the door…all is forgotten.

 

Between our lives it’s so bright. Cut through the night, headlights. And I know, it’s gonna be alright. It’s in her eyes at midnight.

 

It’s a dangerous game that we play, I’m away, and all that I need is you.

When I wake in the dark and I find I’m alone, yeah, more than I ever knew.

Try to unwind but I’m blind I’m alive and I’m thinking of her eyes feeling wistful…where are we going.
