Today is not the day

to make our peace by baring teeth

the corners of desire

are rounded by the way we speak

Today is not the day

to pick up arms and fight again

my mind is full of rain

i’m worried that the winds will change

why do we get here fighting again

I want to be there

to open up and see the world instead

I needed someone

right til the end

and I wanna be there

to open up the door with you again

today is not the day

at least that what your eyes will say
