Tonight I'll be traveling overnight

Where the roads are quiet and the trees touch the sky

I'll be spending the overnight

I'll be coming late, sorry about the wait

But the night is pretty with Orion in the sky on a winter's night

We all are traveling through our lives

As the night moves us along

Overnight in a soft evening rain

Headlights to the rear, taillights up ahead

Time to think about our lives again

Is this right or wrong? Will we really get along?

But I have faith in Orion and those stars on a winter's night

And I do have faith in this love of ours

As the night moves us along

I see a future very different from my past

But I feel a bond that I hope will make things last
