You shared the housework, oh so neat,

Like a tiny bird with busy feet,

But don’t you test me, not today,

Or I might just fly away!

I’m outta here, watch me twirl!

See you later, in a curve,

Drifting off with all my nerve!

You folded laundry, swept the floor,

Then threw my socks right out the door,

Now I’m driving, feeling free,

But wait—I left my house key!

So I’m knocking, looking sad,

You’re just laughing—oh, so bad!

Guess I’ll cook and clean today,

But next time, I’ll run away!

Housework battles, never done,

Who will win? No, not one!
