There are five songs we call the Berlin Songs in Cabaret

We hear snatches of them as Cliff first arrives in Berlin

It's 1930

The first is sung by a little fat man with two blonde women

One on either arm

The second by a Richard Tauber-like tenor

The third by a streetwalker

The fourth by two Chinese girls on a radio station

And the fifth by a group of college students
