If there’s a blue tick hound sitting on the front porch

If the driveway looks like a junkyard for Ford

And there ain’t nothing to drink in the fridge but Momma’s sweat tea

You can find me where there’s country

If the sound of a jukebox playing Haggard and Jones

In an old school honk tonky where they still smoke

Makes you want a cold beer or a double shot of Tennessee

Lot of folks love living that kind of life

Well there’s a diner downtown where the old men go

With chicken fried steak and glass bottle Cokes

If I’m lucky enough someday I’ll be in one of their seats
