For My Good

I have looked at circumstances

When I had lost my way

I found a lot of second chances

For every time I’d strayed

I know that everything that comes in life

All happens for a reason

Although it’s hard to understand

I know it’s only for a season

 

So let the storms come my way

I have hope within my soul

It’s brighter than a perfect day

There’ve been times that I have doubted

That God was on the throne

And I shook my fist and shouted

And I have felt my pillow wet with tears

Tears that came without awarning

But then I see a rainbow through the clouds

Joy is coming in the morning
