Two lights come on Too many eyes to count, we slide down lower now It's where the wild dogs meet Between the bush, ambling Bowing. bending at the knees Lights turn off in the house There's those people making animal sounds Bowing, bending at the knees Crying Calling Finally singing Thought i heard them too, howling at the moon She's just a baby, having a baby Just let the baby cry I'm a mother leaving my mother's arms But no one taught me how to pray I learned from the trees They all stood this way She's just a baby, having a baby Just let the baby cry Lights come on in the house Between the walls they're making animal sounds And she's a little older now When the wolves won't cease Follow the trails of the wild beast Pleading, praying for release Calling Bowing, down to the trees.
