This city feels like it's closing in, don't feel belongingness I used to hold with me

The same faces are tired, worn out and disinterested. They are killing me. Walking home seems longer, clouds seem darker, the days are shorter and the night are longer, it's killing me, this city is killing me

This same old routine is slowly killing me. Theres no beauty in these streets, they are killing me. Killing me, this city is killing me. Killing me

I never leave my room, because of my head and this small city. the dark cloud above me, it won't leave, it won't leave, it plagues me. Every where I go I carry this burden with me. No one else needs to be underneath my cloud, it's killing me, it's slowly killing me. And I don't want it to kill anyone else. I fantasize about flying away

Going some place else with you, every single day. Being up in the clouds, floating further and further away. The reasons to stay here have been slowly dwindling and call me selfish but im drowning here. The same things that gave me joy are failing me now and although I'm thankful for this city giving me a voice, I'll forever be lost here. So I need to leave. But I need you in my life, so please come with me

Because ever since I met you, things have been kind of different. The lines you trace on my skin, I always feel them. Your heartbeat to my ear, the slow rhythmic sound of your breathing, keeps me sane, you keep me sane. Everyone else Ive met, is nothing compared to this. It's nothing compared to you. Although this city is taking my head, I don't want it to take you, but this city is killing me. There's no beauty in these streets, they are killing me
