I Can't See the Stars

I can't see the stars tonight My mind is much to crowded to see the light My soul aches within its core I feel so shattered but I still ignore To press on is to hide my fear As the loneliness follows me every year I grow tired of being alone But when I look to the stars nobody's home I try to search for the daylight So it can shine its light on me My heart's broken But it still beats I try to search for the daylight But darkness always follows me Only love Can set me free The sun keeps the surface warm I smile and it keeps people uninformed I feel helpless buried alive My lungs still breathe but I'm trapped inside With every breath a moment's passed Another breath that I can't get back And every person that is new Gives me the feeling of deja vu I try to search for the daylight So it can shine its light on me My heart's broken But it still beats I try to search for the daylight But darkness always follows me Only love Can set me free Sometimes I can't feel anything Sometimes words are just words But even then I still try to see That life's more a blessing than curse Although maybe sad I still motivate My choices today change the world So next time you can't seem to find yourself Remember you're never alone!
