And Johnny Olson, he didn't just say come on down

He said "Come on Down!"

And he said it from then on, just that way

And most of the announcers who have followed him

Have said it that way

People are so excited to hear their name called

They just flip out when they hear their name

Some people, they're nervous and some kind of uhh and takes over

And they lose it

A-and other people have to physically get them up out of their chairs to get going

Other folks just jump to their feet

And right away they're midstream running

Before I'm finished saying "Come on Down"

(Everyday I watch you!) I don't think there could be a more joyful moment
