Throats

Wielding
The harps of gold
Smothering
Like breathless walls
Viscous
And putrified
Lungs
Collapse under expiry
The haunting chants keep singing
In harmony of suffering
This is my swan song
Where the wings writhe in agony
Nocturnal darkness
Embracing the sun
