Seems like I'm dying from This memory of haunted broken homes A blank stare No ones there To make this better than it was before And still we search For purpose through all unknown But still I'm fighting a darkness inside my soul So much we don't remember love The very thing that makes us whole A martyr in these thoughts With no place to call my own This faith inside me died I simply burned down this home Time and time again Where do we begin To fold up like we're paper Forget to mention about an end I was the burden Weighing down Your body like I was a chore To desperate to see it all unfold This demon in me sat so patiently In every moment For what you believe These eyes are faithful to nothing To broken for what you offer My token to all I'm after A martyr in these thoughts With no place to call my own This faith inside me died I simply burned down this home Time and time again Where do we begin To fold up like we're paper Forget to mention about an end In our end of times Would all lies be so worth it Painted pretty to make me think A perfect home that I couldn't see My choice I chose To this day I live with this everyday Safe to safe it won't go away I'm a mess with negative energy You tried to bury me With no conviction no reason no voice I made it a point To remember I was forgotten
