This is their tenth studio album in

There seventeen year long career and

I know that that's got to be pretty incredible feelin'

Our entire career has just flown by

It doesn't feel like we've been in the game

As long as the numbers say, you know

But this being our tenth album

It's kinda mind blowin' cause you know first

You just wanna get a record deal

Then hopefully hear it on the radio

And we've been so blessed and just

It's really, really amazing that we've got ten studio albums completed

And this one was probably more fun than it was makin' the first one

It was a joy

And it's great, we've got some great stuff on there

I think some of the best stuff we've had in a while

And like Gary said, doesn't feel like it

It's just, uh, I do believe in time travel

I think when you love what you do and you're passionate about it

I think time does seem to move faster and

And it does not feel like seventeen years

But um this album, Back to Us, though is special in so many ways

I mean, we kinda locked ourselves away and really, really took our time

With, um, pickin' the right songs

And write the songs for this album

And spendin' a lot of time at J's house

At his home studio

And uh, you know we're just comfortable, we're just, it was

A very collective progress with the album

And, and uh, it's just amazin' that we're still able to find these songs

And write these songs and make the kinda music we're able to make

After all these years

And just feel blessed

And really humbled to still be in the business

When there's so many wonderful country artists nowadays

Well, I have to say, I love this album

I've actually listened to it multiple times

As I've gotten ready for this album release special

And you know, what about the fact that after all this time

You guys are still managing to stay relavent

You're makin' great music

Keepin' up with what's goin' on in country music

But at the same time, you're still managing to stay true

To the Rascal Flatts sound

That you have developed over the last seventeen years

You know, I think more than ever we feel so alive to make music

And you know, we've learned a lot along the way

We've taken some chances here and there

And learned some lessons along the way too of what maybe not to do

And um, I think we've really allowed ourselves to

Especially on this album just um, let go of the weaknesses

And uh, really hone in on the strengths

That we all possess and have tried to, uh

Do that to the best of our abilities

I, I really feel like this album, Back to Us, showcases that

On J's producing shops

We've gotten just, uh, amazing, amazing through the years

And Gary's singin' and, and our musicianship

It just, it feels like we've finally come to a place where it's just

Little bit of cruise control, you know?

And I mean that as humbly as I can say that

'Cause it makes us proud when we listen to this body of work

Uh, we say it's taken seventeen years to make this album, you know?

This tenth album

Because it really literally has

All the years on the road and all the singin' together

And it's just a beautiful thing

We just, so happy to be puttin' on a new piece of product
