Simply Redeemed

I am a Christian, do you know what that means? It means I'm far from perfect but simply redeemed I was bought with a purpose, purchased by love It's not a form of religion, but a gift from above I am not perfect, I have been redeemed I'm just a believer, do you know what that means? It means I've pledged my life, giving everything I never knew that this was meant to be 'Cause I am not perfect but I have been redeemed, redeemed While I was yet to err transgressions Somebody paid the price for me I offered up my life to Him and now I say again I am not perfect, I have been redeemed I am your brother, let me show you the way We'll walk this road together Take it day by day Somehow I know we'll make this journey's end Make no mistake about it Brothers and sister for we are now redeemed, redeemed While we were yet to know transgressions God paid the price for you and me So why not offer up our lives to Him accept His love And then begin to walk together, you can take my hand For we have been redeemed, yes redeemed While we were yet to err transgressions God paid the price for you and me So why not give our life to Him, accept His love And we'll begin to stand together hand in hand And with our God, heal our land And we'll wear these chains no more And the walls will come crashing down One day God will come again and we'll find perfect rest in Him I can't wait to see you smile When you'll be perfect We'll be perfect We will be perfect, we will be perfect, simply redeemed
