Learning to Float

You say what's on my mind, but it's stuck inside like a prison cell

Heart beating fast in time with the cell phone line ringing out in hell

Tell me what I'm waiting for, I can feel the toll on my health

I hear the birds singing loud, I tread for a while but I don't float well

Why can't I exhale

Tied down by my chains

I start to lose the will to lie, today

Find me at a crossroads in the dark, where my fears are miles apart

Don't disguise me, in a skin that I can feel will fall apart

Always caught up in the things I said without the grey matter that's inside my head

Grey matter inside, won't shatter my mind, I'd rather decide when to close my eyes

Lay and show me how to swim alone in high tide

Say you know me enough, to set me down and break me out
