Headed back to the land forgotten Where it's pure and nothing is rotten Turn the key and speed down the road City lights fade away in the mirror 60 miles til the air is clearer I couldn't keep what I was owed I have lost my way back home Lived a life nothing but a sinner Running fast drinking like a winner Now I must pay my debt Left or right its no where in sight Rattled bones feeling nothing but fright Forgot its gone but at least theres regret I have lost my way back home
