Choking on the things I should have said,

The words between the lines I should have read,

Now I’m gasping for the air I know to breath,

Chasing after pride thats running circles around me,

On a sight that’s not a pretty one,

A storyline I want changed,

On actions I can’t undo,

Past decisions all made,

Look I’m not looking for any forgiveness,

Nothing I deserve in the slightest,

But when I look back on our greatest times,

It’d be a shame to waste it all, when it’s worth not being left behind,

Focused on the wrong things at the time,

Should’ve doubted whether you were truly fine,

Now I’m paying for my ignorance, a price I never wanted set in stone, set in stone,
