Bad Manners

Deep inside, I know I don't want it But it pulls on me like gravity Deep inside, I know that it isn't right But it pulls on me like gravity And I try to resist, the illusion that I missed Oh no, here I go I've been giving in; it feels like I have sinned Oh, and the lies I tell, to smother and quell "It's just one time", "out of sight out of mind" "Maybe just this once", it's all a mental dance Temper temptations But I can't fight it It's hard to break with bad manners And I've sought aid, oh yes, I sat and waited Went through their lists, told them what I missed "It just helps me out", "Oh but you're better without" "You'll have to moderate, your manners and traits" Temper temptations But I can't fight it It's hard to break with bad manners And I've tried my best Oh, how I joke and jest But it's hard to break with bad manners And I try to resist, the illusion that I missed Oh no, here I go Will I ever break With the choices I make?
