Everything is silent and haunting She is obscure, polluted and empty Diseased-riven soil where once life stood Purged away the illness, everything is gone Heavy rain drops onto the impending night Cleans the air from the stench of death Silence the screams from the last man's breath The tumor was stopped but the harm is done Centuries will pass to undo the wrong Slowly she will become alive And nourish life as it occurs There is nothing left There is nothing alive Nobody has survived She will now thrive From the ashes of this corroded world A better one will emerge from its soil Nature will overtake all that was lost Life will always find the way And there will be no more weapons There will be no more wars No more machines, no more systems, humans no more
