As I sit outside I can feel the air change from its harsh bite to a welcoming breeze

With its arms open to me

It’s hands no longer rolling the dice on what my future will hold

But instead, planting flowers amongst my bones

As I watch the flowers bloom and the moss grow, I know that I’ve persevered through my darkest nights into my brightest days

Am I confident that I truly have survived the winter

And I’m so scared for the future and my life
