Lyrics

20 years in the bag, how's it goin'
It's aight, all my scars still showin'
Been awhile since I been back home
And I miss my mom, all cool, keep growin'
Two years in LA, how's it goin' (how's it goin')
It's aight, there's a warm wind blowin'
Evil Woman did fine
Makin' money online
High five, that's cool, keep growin'
Oh no
I think I'm growing old
Outgrowing all my clothes
And I just wanna slow down
Oh no
I think I'm on my own
I still can't find my phone
And I just wanna lay down
But if I touched the sky
Then would I find my wings
But if I flew too high
What would the angels think
Somebody go and grab me a chalice (get that chalice)
It's time to raise a drink (It's time to raise a drink)
I spent a little time in the palace
And it isn't what you think... so
[Verse 4}
Let's go storm the gates right now
Let's go burn the whole place down
Let's go throw my pride in a moat
We can sink the boats
And then we'll melt the crowd
{Chorus]
Oh no
I think I'm growing old
Outgrowing all my clothes
And I just wanna slow down
Oh no
I think I'm on my own
I still can't find my phone
And I just wanna lay down
But if I touched the sky (and i just wanna lay down)
Then would I find my wings
But if I flew too high (just wanna lay down)
What would the angels think
Please don't tell me I'm not perfect
I promise you I know
Please don't tell me I'm not worth it
I promise you you're wrong
I feel like the number seven
I'm not weak, I am strong
Just go ask the one who made me
He'll tell you that I'm...
Last night... I laid out in my front yard and stared up at the sky. I sat and watched for song long the stars started to spin in circles. They asked me who I am, and I told them who I was. It was the only true answer I could think of. As I sunk into the grass, my old checkered Vans dissipated into dust and all I was left with was cold feet. But at the exact moment I became terrified I was one with the earth. I was overwhelmed with peace. All I could hear was... "you are mine."
