I can go with you

I can go with you but only so far

You glide on the water and I fall on the shore

I laid my hand now it’s all up to fate

I was a little younger and I learn too late

I can go with you even after you go

So many ways to follow but only one road

Either way something’s lost I suppose

Just a little boredom and it’s all scattered so

Across the river are you waiting for me

Well if I was a little bigger I’d go and see

Sprawled across my time it’s nothing really to mourn

But I cannot reach the angels And I cannot hear their horns
