Dust and Dirt

I'm not as strong as people think I am When weakness comes I just run away My every fear and insecurity Keeps haunting me And taunting me They're telling me That I can never change I know the maker of my heart Is working things for good But why do I feel this pain Living inside my shame And if I'm saved by His amazing grace Adopted now in His name Why do I see my worth As nothing more than dust and dirt Can't let em' see my scars and open wounds I'm climbing up but i keep falling down Every sorrow I have ever known Invades my soul Says I'm alone This is home And they'll never let me go I know the maker of my heart Is working things for good But why do I feel this pain Living inside my shame And If I'm saved by His amazing grace Adopted now, in His name Why do I see my worth As nothing more than dust and dirt Dust and dirt I know the answers I confess So why am i still struggling through this My prison door is open wide Why does it feel so safe to say inside I know the maker of my heart Is working things for good But why do I feel this pain Living inside my shame And If I'm saved by His amazing grace Adopted now, in His name Why do I see my worth As nothing more than dust and dirt
