On the Water

I was headed to the other side Instructively I was on my way when that storm rolled in that tried to hold me But who is that in the midst of the waves Calling out my name I hear Come As the lightening flashes and the waves are crashing Do not fear The wind and Thunder Don't listen to their rumble Just meet me here On the water Now this we see We haven't seen before It feels so uncertain But there is nothing we can not overcome By his grace and mercy As I take a step unto the unknown My faith's in you and you alone Here I come With the lightening flashing and the waves are crashing You say don't fear But the wind and thunder I'm going under Why'd you call me here On the water I called your name I call you strong You are built to overcome Trust and keep your eyes on me Do not dwell on what you see The wind and waves won't last long But my word will carry on Trust in me Spirit, Son, and Father Walk with me On this water With the lightening flashing And the waves are crashing Do not fear The wind and thunder Don't listen to their rumble He'll meet you here On the water
