Sometimes The Things You Say

How can it seem so right when nothing's made any sense at all and now you can't take it back. Think of what you've said to me. I'm wondering now what you really meant. Why can't it be true? Who will save me from your words? Stop me from believing in you because I can't go on. I'm still holding on, hanging on to every word you said. Still I wonder why you've never explained anything you said, still ringing in my head. I should know better. I can't fight the fact I'm hearing what I want to hear and now I can't go back and ask you what you meant. The things you say, the things you've said.
