But a meaningless thing can potentially bring so much happiness

For a moment a day, to a boy or a girl and the genderless

Sometimes you find yourself falling in love

Falling asleep, falling apart

Faltering hard at the various tests

The answer’s unknown, but you’ll hazard a guess

Existence is full of thousands of days

But sometimes a day can remain in your heart for eternity

Persistence is key in the strangest of quests

The leaves on the trees are tired and stressed

And they’re falling down

Fumbling around for some meaningless change

Deeply confused, slightly deranged

Feeling perplexed when you think of the past

It’s tragic as hell, but it still makes you laugh
