What's Going On

25 years and my life is still Trying to get up that great big hill of hope For a destination I realized quickly when I knew I should That the world was made up of this brotherhood of man For whoever that means And I say, "Hey-ey-eh-eh-eh" Hey-ey-eh I say, "Hey, what's going on?" And I say "Hey-ey-eh-eh-eh" Hey-ey-eh I say, "Hey, what's going on?" (What's going on?) And so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed Just to get it all out, what's in my head And I, I'm feeling a little peculiar And so I wake in the morning and I step outside And I take a deep breath and I get real high And I scream from the top of my lungs "What's going on?" And I say, "Hey-ey-eh-eh-eh" Hey-ey-eh I say, "Hey, what's going on?" And I say, "Hey-ey-eh-eh-eh" Hey-ey-eh I say, "Hey, what's going on?"
