HOW CAN I HEAR

All I ever wanted to see was my own mind,

All I ever wanted to hear, was the sound of my soul,

But how can I hear? How can I hear?

So many thoughts are twisting around in my brain,

Feelings ache me,

As they blow through my body in waves,

And I know in a moment,

Lifetimes are here and then gone,

We come, we grow, we fade, we die, we carry on—

And I want to know, I want to know,

The sound of my soul,

All I ever wanted to see was my own mind,

All I ever wanted to hear, was the sound of my soul,
