On a night without an end
A chance and not a gamble
As unannounced as it began
Our eyes begin the painting

The paint begins to move

A bruised amalgamation
Mixing rhythm into hues
The goal is not completion
But rather to have done
The painting drips and glistens
In the pale and rising sun
Our clothes are strewn around us
As emptied as our minds
Still lost in carnal pleasures
