I've been in your shoes too many times to count
When I first got to AVA in Philidelphia
I was there and I knew one role and five arias
My peers they had been too young arts programs
They had foreign roles and different languages and stuff like that
One girl was speaking Italian fluently
My freshman year there at AVA
And I was like
Oh oh wait a minute now
This ain't what it's supposed to be right
