Waking up from this dream state Crows outside the window as I wake Yesterday's moon looked dull & bloody Another night you didn't come home to sleep It was just easier to stay alone in our bed Then face that your love for me was dead Our fate was always in the air A possibility this would become a nightmare I could feel the impending doom Everything crashing down in our bedroom Where you'd hold me when you were drunk Because there was no one around us Sad it was easier to stay in this empty bed So I wouldn't have to face we were near the end And please don't act like you suddenly care That unlike broken mirrors we can't be repaired You needed others as much as I needed you I was just the one that had to be bruised Can I really lay here surprised and torn After all these omens I ignored?
