God Has Let Us Go

In the Gospel This Good News about Christ God's righteousness is revealed Moving us to receiving life through faith Enabling us to live faithfully As it is written in the Bible The righteous shall live by faith God's secret's now open To those with that faith But the rest of us Who have bad faith Can't see God's Secret Truth God's good news is still hidden in plain sight To those of us who don 't see God's good news God shows his wrath from heaven Against all the godlessness and unrighteousness Of all who suppress the truth in unrighteousness By hindering stifling and rebelling against that truth And as such preventing people from acknowledging The truth about God Since what can be known about God Is clear and plain to them Because God has shown it to them For since the creation of the world God's invisible attributes Like His eternal power and deity Are discerned easily and clearly In what God has made And these people cannot plead ignorance to God Claiming such a thing is a lie They have no valid excuse to present in their defense When the time of God's final judgment comes This is all because knowing God They didn't glorify Him as God Or thank Him for being God And for creating them and for sustaining them And for all the good things that He has given them Instead their thinking became pointless And their foolish hearts were darkened They say that they are wise But they have made fools of themselves And they traded the glory of the Imperishable immortal incorruptible Ever living God For things that look like mere Humans and birds animals and reptiles Therefore God gave them up To the sinful desires of their hearts To sexual impurity and to perversion For the degrading of their bodies with one another All because they traded the truth of God for a lie So that they worshiped and served creation The things God made Rather than the Creator who is the God Who made all things Glory and praises to Him who is blessed forever Amen This is why God let go of them Allowing them to follow their own Corrupt dispositions Wicked propensities Evil desires Depraved cravings And the lustful longings for the love of Disgraceful dishonorable and shameful Behaviors affections and passions That arouse their own Insatiable unquenchable base interests That are disgusting decrepit repugnant and vile That are full of loath These acts demean and degrade While also being wasting Self defeating and self destructing That is why God let go of them To ruin themselves Yes indeed God gave up on those of us Who don't belong to Jesus Christ God let go of us
