I wanna walk in the light through the midst of the darkness

The motive is Love, God's Love will embody us

To shine like the stars in the midst of the crooked and dark

Confront the things that bring bondage and push 'em apart

From people being enslaved to evil they can't reach

To break their own shackles, they too feeble and weak

I've been in that place, that's the reason I speak

I'm a witness in submission, there's a vision of peace

Suffocated in my sin, He gave permission to breath

This freedom is not hyperbole, the vision is deep

Normally I don't cry much, but when I compare where I was

To where I'm at now, these tears from my eyes rush

Down my cheek 'til my eye ducts are dried up

I touched the hem of His garment so I must

He was at the right of God, but He left His side

Then He put on flesh to die just to rectify

What was wrong, see, me and God been on separate sides

But now I am accepted, why?

His sheep will be less surprised

But to those that accept the deceptive lies
