Walk in It

I woke up this morning

And without warning

I wanted to get back into bed

See I was troubled and I was wanting

To change some of the things that I said

But I cant go back and change my words

I can't go back change my deeds

I can't change the things I don’t want in me

I’ve only got today

Only got right now in this minute

Its up to me and how im gonna live it

I’ve got to get it right, it’s the first day of the rest of my life

Only got one moment, its right now

To make it thru somehow

And change the ways I’m living

I'll give it to God and then Walk in it

I seem to look in the rearview mirror

A little to long and a little to much

I’d even try to get back, theres no reverse to do that

To change all the things I’ve done

Rework my mistakes and the ways I’ve run

But theres no need for that, as they say the past is the past

I need to change my ways

I need to be walking straight
